HOST A WORKSHOP
Bring Pilates Grad School to Your Studio or Conference
Looking to enhance your studio’s offerings and elevate your team’s skills?
Pilates Grad School provides a range of customizable workshops that can be delivered directly to your studio, either in person or virtually. Whether you’re interested in The Pilates IT Factor or any of our other expertly crafted workshops, our sessions are designed to provide your teachers with continuing education credits (CECs) through the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP). Explore our offerings below and bring the best of Pilates education directly to your team.
Teaching by Design: Reformer
2 hours 2 NPCP CECs
A two-hour workshop on how you show up to teach, not just what you teach. John leads five Reformer flows, each matched to one of the 5 Pilates Teacher Archetypes™: the Entertainer, the Motivator, the Coach, the Educator, and the Pal. You’ll feel how the energy shifts with each one, and how the same cues land differently.
You’ll leave knowing how to design your classes around the archetypes, based on the time of day, the class format, and the people in the room.
Teaching by Design: Pilates Chair
2 hours 2 NPCP CECs
A two-hour workshop on how you show up to teach, not just what you teach. John leads five Chair flows, each matched to one of the 5 Pilates Teacher Archetypes™: the Entertainer, the Motivator, the Coach, the Educator, and the Pal. The Chair is small and hides nothing, which makes it the perfect place to feel how the energy shifts with each archetype, and how the same cues land differently.
You’ll leave knowing how to design your classes around the archetypes, based on the time of day, the class format, and the people in the room.
Teaching by Design: Spring Wall
2 hours 2 NPCP CECs
A two-hour workshop on how you show up to teach, not just what you teach. John leads five Spring Wall flows, each matched to one of the 5 Pilates Teacher Archetypes™: the Entertainer, the Motivator, the Coach, the Educator, and the Pal. The Spring Wall is the most social piece of equipment in the studio, where a teacher’s energy carries the room. That makes it the perfect place to feel how the energy shifts with each archetype, and how the same cues land differently.
You’ll leave knowing how to design your classes around the archetypes, based on the time of day, the class format, and the people in the room.
The Pilates IT Factor Foundations Workshop
4 hours 4 NPCP CECs
Our signature four-hour workshop on how instructors communicate, now with more breakout activities so you can apply the material in real time. You’ll work hands-on with John on vocal presence, body language, energy, the 5 Pilates Teacher Archetypes™, and the science of connection in and out of the studio.
Whether you teach Mat, Reformer, Privates, or Group, this is where it starts. You’ll leave with worksheets and tools to keep applying the IT Factor long after the workshop.
Build Your Weekend
Every workshop stands on its own, and they fit together. The most popular plan is a full weekend: the Introductory Workshop and one Teaching by Design workshop on Saturday afternoon, and the other two Teaching by Design workshops on Sunday afternoon. A Friday and Saturday split works the same way. Teachers can register for one workshop or the whole weekend.
Host studios choose the workshops, your teachers get a host rate, you receive a share of public registrations, and Pilates Grad School handles registration, marketing, and logistics. Booking now for January through June and September through November 2027.
